The Marriage Certificate of Amneh Hamdan and Ali Abdallah in Burqa Village, 10 November 1936
Issued on 26 Shaaban 1355 AH, corresponding to 10 November 1936 AD, this document shows the marriage certificate of 18-year-old Amneh Hamdan and 27-year-old Ali Ibrahim Abdallah from Burqa. The marriage was held at the house of Mohammad as-Salih for a dowry of 70 Palestinian pounds, 50 of which are prompt dowry and 20 are deferred dowry, where the prompt was paid to the guardian of the wife, he father, and the contract was witnessed by Ahmad Issa Abdallah and Abdallah Ibrahim Abdallah from Burqa, while Abderrahman az-Zawati was the marriage register.
