"Blood Payment" Agreement between the Families of the Nawaj'a Clan, 1971
A "Blood Payment" agreement concluded between the families of the Nawaj'a Clan, in which the representatives of the families agreed to be in solidarity and bear all losses if a clan member commits a crime that requires blood or regular payments. The document was signed on 1 October 1971 by the seniors of the Msallam, Awad, al-Jamal, Salem, and Abu Samra Families.
