This 125-page document shows the diaries of Fandi Mhanna from Buqei'a- Upper Galilee for 1954-1955 inside an agenda for the year 1954, where he wrote about social and political, in addition to describing the weather and the Hijri calendar.  Included in some of the political events that Mhanna talked about in his diaries are the military coup that took down Adib Shishakli in Syria in 1954 and the news about the former President of Egypt, Mohamed Naguib. Mhanna also talked about his relationship with his family, spending his time in Buqei'a, participating in celebrating independence day, Eid al-Fitr, social visits and solving clan disputes inside and outside the village.  He listed his participation in several social events and going to the Prophet Sabalan Tomb, where people flock to pray with Sheikhs from neighbouring villages, and wrote about his relationship and holding on to the land, as he always worked in weeding it out, pruning trees and planting many vegetables. As well as recording some financial accounts including debts he owes, the product of the olive crop, some miscellaneous purchases for his market, and accounts between him and his partners at the oil press. Then, he pointed out his role in the department of supplies, where he received supplies and distributed them to those who deserved them.
