The Diaries of Fandi Mhanna, Buqei'a- Upper Galilee, 1960 and 1970
This 201-page document shows the diaries of Fandi Mhanna from Buqei'a- Upper Galilee inside an agenda in the 1960 and 1970, where he wrote about social and political, in addition to describing the weather and the Hijri calendar. In this agenda, Mhanna spoke about his relationship with his family and preparing clothes for his daughter who will get married known as the "bridal capsule wardrobe". He pointed out the time he spent in Buqei'a by participating in tribal conflict resolution with the officials of Buqei'a in the area. He also engages in social celebrations and exchanges visits with numerous sects during the holidays. Additionally, Mhanna mentions his visit to the Shrine of Prophet Sablan, where people gather together to practice religious rituals and their direct correlation to the land. He also kept a record of the financial accounts in his diaries, like debts that he owes, accounts for his supermarket and a yield of the olive production.
