A Photograph of Wastewater In an Open Square Before Sabra Neighborhood in Lebanon, the 1980s
Taken in the 1980s, this photograph shows wastewater covering an open square before Sabra Neighborhood, adjacent to the Shatila Refugee Camp in Lebanon. Taken during the war in Lebanon, the photograph mirrors the aftermath of the war and the bombing of the Neighborhood. The photograph is glued on a card headed with the logo of "Balsam" magazine, a method the Palestine Red Crescent Society used for the archive.
