A Memorandum on the Draft Law of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, 1958

Drawn up in 1958, this document shows a memorandum that was addressed to the Lower House of the Jordanian Parliament on the Orthodox issue and the draft law of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and that includes the reasons given by the Government for referring the draft law to the Parliament of Jordan, an addendum containing the text of the old draft law along with the approved amendments for 1957 in addition to the text of the new draft law of 1958.
