A Coloured Cement Tile and the Mold Used to Manufacture It, the "Jordan Band," 1930s

A coloured cement tile, known by its design as the "Jordan Band (Zunnar)", with the copper mold used to cast it which the Aslan family used at their factory in Nablus. The mold has been in use since 1930s to this day. It is said that this design of tiles was used in the palace where the king Hussein bin Talal was born.
