Qoran of Shaheed Ayman Al-Luh Displayed at the '100 Shaheeds - 100 Lives' Exhibition, Feb 2001.
This photograph shows a Qoran that belonging to Shaheed Ayman Al-Luh who was murdered during the confrontation which had broken out near an Israeli military tower On October 4th, 2000. This item displayed at the '100 Shaheeds - 100 Lives' exhibition held at the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center in Ramallah On October 20th, 2001. which is taken by Isabel de la Cruz. The idea of the exhibition emerged in the outbreak of the Second Intifada (Al-Aqsa Intifada) as a tribute to all those murdered in the struggle. However, as the number of shaheeds was exponentially increasing, the exhibition was limited to honoring the first 100 shaheeds representing all areas of Historic Palestine.
