Minutes of two sessions, No. 185 and 186 of the Salfit Municipal Council held on 1 May 1956 and the second on 5 May, during which the council decided several decisions, including authorizing the mayor to travel to Amman with the district director in order to discuss the work and achievements of the Municipality, discuss the issue of loans and donations, and commitment to the official dates and ceremonies approved by the Jordanian government regarding Eid al-Fitr.
