The Minutes of Session No. 57 of the Salfit Village Council, 14 May 1953
Handwritten on 14 May 1953, this document shows the minutes of session No. 57, convened by the Salfit Village Council on this date. During the session, the Council made several decisions, including submitting a request to the District Provincial Governor that the government and the neighbouring villages pay the rent for a building, submitting a report to the Religious Endowments (Awqaf) Department regarding paying the leased property tax, in addition to examining the issue of building new rooms for the village schools.
