Found in the Sanabel Center for Studies and Popular Heritage, this colour photograph captures al-Aiṣ Mosque in Sa'ir built by the Mamluk Sultan Qalawun and was re-expanded during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Abdel-Hamid, then during the British Mandate era, and the last expansion was in 1986.
